Story

Mountains High! - Lake Geneva Challenge. The four of us have teamed up to cycle the 500 miles through France, Germany and Switzerland to raise money and awareness of AYME, Association of Young People with ME. Day ONE we’ll be setting off from Nacey, East France, heading South-east towards the German boarder, at Vosges we have a number of climbs taking us to 4,000ft. Day TWO Starting in the Rhine valley where we'll cross over in to Germany and the Black Forest, we head towards the snow-capped mountains beyond, where we'll be facing our longest climb on route, a 10 mile climb with a gradient of 6% and above. Day Three we’re over the Swiss boarder in to Switzerland. At 45 miles we would have successfully tackled probably our toughest climb of the challenge, 3 miles of which much is 10/11%, and by 90 miles we are at 3,800ft. Along the entire ride we'll be tackling ‘between us’ over 36,344ft (that's 7,315ft higher than Mount Everest!) At the end of day three our final breath-taking descent takes us through historic vineyards to Lake Geneva. Please dig deep and help use
raise a MOUNTIN of money for AYME.
