Well I've finally done it, after all the years of saying I'd never ever run a Marathon,  a couple of years the wrong side of 50 and a few pounds off peak condition I have finally secured a place to run in this years London Marathon

I'm running on behalf of The Prostate Cancer Charity. As well as raising money I also hope to raise awareness, whilst I have known friends affected by this cancer I, like 70% of the other adults, had no idea what the prostate gland does. I also had no idea how prevalent it is with over 35,000 diagnosed every year, with on average one man dying every hour - 10,000 per annum.
