Thanks so much to all of those who have donated to this very worthy cause! I managed a surprising 3 hours 10 minutes helped in part by a favourable wind and by dumb optimism.

Now I need to think of a new challenge to keep me on the fitness trail.

Hearbeat helped a friend and colleague recently when he had twins one of which had a serious heart condition. Living in Jersey, it would have been impossible for him to be with his babies had it not been for Heartbeat House. Free accomodation - a "home-from-home" for relatives of children undergoing cardiac treatment.
