Story

This story is about my brother Nigel.

Nigel was a warm, loving and affectionate person who loved life.

Two of Nigel's big passions were football and Music.

Nigel's passion for football started from a very early age and his talent for the game took him to Gillingham FC, Maidstone and Herne Bay amongst others. Nigel continued to play upon turning 50 last year and he kept himself fit by running and attending the gym.  Nigel also spent a number of years coaching junior football.

Music was also a passion for Nigel and he loved all things Jazz-funk and Soul and enjoyed attending gigs.  He was always the first one on the dance floor and was up there as a true groover.  Nigel took pride in his appearance and always dressed to impress (however he found it hard to break into a tenner).

Nigel wished to remain optimistic during his battle against Cancer and continued to consider the welfare of those around him.

Nigel was diagnosed in February 2014 with Cholangiocarcinoma a rare Cancer that we had not heard of before.  Tragically Nigel was taken away from us on the 7th May 2014.

Words cannot begin to express how much Nigel is missed by his family and friends.  Nigel will be fondly remembered and forever in our hearts.

Love you Nigel x
