The Tour 21 in 2024 will see a team of 25 amateur cyclists take on all 21 stages of the 2024 Tour de France route, one week ahead of the professional race - with the aim of raising over £/$1million for Cure Leukaemia.

Story

In just a few weeks time I will be tackling The Tour 21 on behalf of Cure Leukaemia, alongside 17 amateur cyclists as we look to complete the full Tour de France route one week ahead of the professionals. Starting in Tuscany, The Tour 21 will take place from Saturday 22 June - Sunday 14 July and will tackle all 21 gruelling stages of the Tour de France route - one of the world's most gruelling sporting challenges. This year’s Tour route was announced last October and has been hailed as one of the toughest ever. With a record amount of climbing (55,000m) over 3500km it will wind its way through some extraordinary terrain between it’s start in Florence and unprecedented finish in Nice - due to Paris holding the 2024 Olympic Games. I have committed to raise a minimum of £30,000 and hope to raise significantly more. Between the 17 of us we hope to raise £1 million. It goes without saying this depends on the huge generosity of anyone who finds themselves on this page. I thank you all in advance.

Cure Leukaemia fund research nurses at 15 hospitals across the UK. These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
