Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following in my fathers, friends and colleagues footsteps I have agreed to take on the challenge of climbing the three highest mountains in the UK in 24hours. 'The Three Peaks Challenge' to be precise!

For someone, who in my family is renowned for the phrase 'i don't do walking', this is going to be interesting.

This mission will begin on 8th May at the bottom of Ben Nevis, in Scotland, with 4,408 ft to climb, driving to Scafell Pike to climb 2,310 ft and finally finishing off with Snowdon in Wales and 3,560 ft... the first word that comes to mind is 'OUCH!'... this is however for a very good cause and is the Hotcourses Foundation Charity that was set up in 2004 through my work.

Hotcourses Foundation's objective is to make a measurable, tangible difference to the lives of children in some of the poorest parts of the world. Initially we have focused on AIDS-orphans in Kenya and HIV positive young adults in Uganda. We do this by providing money to fund their education and provide school uniforms and related resources. The Hotcourses Foundation is particularly proud of the primary school it built in Kitui, eastern Kenya, which came top in recent assessments of schools in the area.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many Thanks
