Dear Friends,
Cause: To raise funds to upgrade facilities and services at the Sayla Civic Health Centre
“Walking is the great adventure, the first meditation, a practice of heartiness and soul primary to humankind. Walking is the exact balance between spirit and humility.” - Gary Snyder
On Sunday 18th April, along with many of my friends, I will be involved in a 10 kilometre sponsored walk. As we walk around the beautiful lakeside surroundings of the Rickmansworth Aquadrome Nature reserve, we will be helping to raise funds for the upgrading of a much needed medical facility in rural Gujarat
I have been involved with an NGO called Raj Saubhag Satsang Mandal, based in the village of Sayla, Gujarat. For over 35 years, the organisation has contributed significantly to improvements in the lives of the surrounding villages, positively impacting 10s of thousands of individuals.
More details are available on the leaflet available to download below and by visiting www.rajsaubhag.info Download a PDF of Raj Saubhag Activities Here:
With a considerable reputation in the region, and substantial goodwill, the NGO was recently been asked by the Government of Gujarat to take over Sayla’s ailing Civic Health Centre.
