Help more people beat cancer

 

Dear friends,

When I began fundraising for this year’s Race for Life, it was in memory of two treasured and much missed friends, Brigitte Stiller and Liberty Dagenais. It was also in celebration of a wonderful friend, Christiane Weber, whose passionate love of life, we hoped, would remain undiminished by the crippling effects of cancer for many years to come. Sadly, this wasn’t to be. Christiane passed away on June 8, 2012. All three of these beautiful, courageous women lost their lives far, far too soon. Brigitte was in her early sixties, Christiane was 36, Libby never even saw her 30th birthday. I will love and miss them forever.
