Patients and staff at the Regional Neurological Rehabilitation (RNRU) Hospital in Homerton Hospital, Hackney are raising money for Headway East London. RNRU is a ward specialising in neurological rehabilitation for adults who have experienced a brain injury. 

Headway East London is a local charity supporting people affected by brain injury, offering specialist services to survivors and their families. Patients discharged from RNRU are often supported by Headway via their support groups, day services and therapy services.

Current patients, staff and patients who have been successfully discharged from RNRU are collaboratively walking, running, cycling or propelling wheelchairs over 900 miles throughout the month of June. Together, we are aiming to cover the distance equivalent to travelling from Land's End in Cornwall, to John O'Groats in Scotland.
