We give grants to Breast Cancer Charities to help those suffering from Breast Cancer

Story

Team RSR have been challenged to the MK Festival of Running in March to raise money for our chosen charity of the month - The Pink Ribbon Foundation.

The team consisting of 13 amateur runners will be taking on the 10k race and we would all appreciate your support in trying to raise as much as we can for a great cause.

Every year nearly 58,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, that's the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes.  Breast cancer is the second most common cause of death from cancer in women in the UK, with around 11,500 people dying from breast cancer every year and 1 in 8 women in the UK will develop the disease in her lifetime.

About the charity

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust, its mission is to fund projects and provide impartial financial support to breast cancer charities. We have very little infrastructure in order to ensure that all of the charities that benefit from the work of the Foundation receive maximum gain.
