I will be taking part in the Seed 24 Peaks Challenge on the 3^rd and 4^th June, aiming to climb 24 peaks in the Lake District in just 24 hours. I am doing this to support an organisation that is close to my heart – Seed.

Raising children in today’s complex world can be very challenging. Family structures have changed, and many new parents find themselves without the support of extended family and community. Parents can feel bombarded with an over-abundance of expert advice and raised societal expectations.

Seed provides a variety of programmes and opportunities to help Jewish families to meet these challenges. Seed supports and guides parents via a range of educational and social opportunities based on a sophisticated, authentic and contemporary knowledge of Judaism. Their programmes include mother and baby groups, parent and child activities in primary schools, parenting workshops, residential weekends away for families and trips abroad

I have been involved with SEED for almost 30 years; as a student in Southgate - my study partner introduced me to my wife Rivky. As a tutor in Newcastle, Ilford and now in Kingsbury, the longest running 1-1 centre in London.

Generously SEED have agreed that half of my sponsorship will go to NOAM Primary School where I teach.
