My name is James and I'm a 13 year old, who is currently undergoing assessments for autism. I would like to dye my fringe blue to raise awareness of the challenges children , adults and families who live with autism, and the daily struggles they face.

This is something that me and my family feel very strongly about. Although I haven't been diagnosed, I still face the struggles that any autistic child would. I have been to 5 different schools and struggled in each and every one of them. It is thanks to my family, professionals and charities like the Lothian Autistic society, who have helped me, and continue to support me.

The aim of this is, is not only to raise awareness but to highlight the incredible work that these charities do, in supporting families struggling with autism. The work and support they do is important to children like me.
