This year my Dad experienced what it feels like to be the one receiving the treatment rather than delivering it. With the diagnosis of Bowel Cancer, Dad faced major surgery followed by intense Chemotherapy. Throughout this process, Dad has remained positive & strong in mind even when his body would not follow. Dad has come through and is beginning to enjoy life a bit more again!

My Dad is my hero and I want to honour his bravery by attempting London Marathon. I have steered clear of this one as crowds of people are not my favourite thing these days and I am rather daunted by it all...

So let’s do it. Let’s see how much we can raise for a local charity who helps people like my Dad beat this disease. Thank you so much.
