Story
Well I am in the big one! I must say I am delighted and proud to be running (most of the way) for the Parkinson’s Disease Society, a charity very close to my heart.
After battling with cancer more than once and eventually in remission my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. This is a disease which there is no cure; however with what money I do raise I hope I can contribute to research towards finding a cure for this heart breaking condition.
Every girl loves her Dad, but my Dad is the best, he has been so strong through all his illnesses, never once have I heard him complain and if I can find even a small percentage of the strength he has had, I will run the 26 miles no problem.
If the 26 miles is not enough for you I have also run the Bath Half Marathon in March. (2hrs 2minutes!)
