As a mother of three children seeing Cyclists Fighting Cancer facebook photo and video updates of children receiving bikes donated by CFC inspires me daily. Losing a close dear friend to cancer earlier this year has made cancer more real to me. I have with the help & support of my clients and staff raised nearly £2000 for CFC since we opened our doors on 28th November 2012. Through selling Peachy Keen lipsticks (all proceeds go to CFC) Tanathons and Pamperthons! The most obvious side effects of cancer treatment is hair loss, for young and older people alike this must compound the many challenges of recovery. From a little girl to the present, those that know me would be aware of how much I love my crowning glory and how much of a challenge this will be for me. However all things considered my vanity pales into insignificance in comparison to what these young people are going through. Gorgeous Obsession is primarily about beautifying people, dig a little deeper you will find that building inner strength and confidence is a byproduct of our services. I hope by continuing to raise funds for Cyclists Fighting Cancer we will bring more awareness to the great service that Mike and his wonderful charity are doing for children and families throughout the UK.
