Our team is swimming the channel (that's 22 miles or 35.4 km!) in aid of Aspire, who try to help people affected by spinal injury in the most practical and feasible way.

The trigger for our campaign was Rainer's life-changing accident last year. The more we can raise awareness of the abilities and needs of paralysed people, the better! There are so many opportunities and inventions around, but they all need funding and careful implementation. Rainer himself will be participating in the challenge, which is surely more than inspiring! 

So if you support this cause and would like to help, please donate - however big or small, all contributions are very gratefully received by the charity..

In the meantime we'll be swimming away the length of the Channel and will keep you posted on our progress!
