Story

Some of you may or may not know that we lost my uncle to bowel cancer 2 years ago and in his final illness he was cared for in Saint Francis Hospice.  The care he received there helped ease his final days.  sometimes all we can do is make sure our loved ones are as comfortable as possible in these hard times and hospices help make this a reality.  Hence I thought it would be good to raise some awareness and money to help other people in the same situation.  So naturally I am planning on putting myself and my best friend(the lovely Jennifer Strawson) through extreme amounts of pain and suffering to hopefully inspire you to part with some of your hard earned cash!  Jenny and I will be found floundering, uh I mean expertly crossing lake windermere on 4th September at the Great North Swim, wearing nothing more than wetsuits and a prayer! So if you fancy a laugh or want to show your support we would love you to come down and cheer us on and sponsor us with as little or as much as you can manage. Thank you! Wish us luck-gulp!  : )
