On September 10th 2010 I shall be flying out to Peru to visit the mysterious ruins of Machu Picchu.  I will be embarking on an 8 day trek at high altitude along wild mountain passes to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  This charity does great work in providing free nursing care to cancer patients and those with other terminal illnesses in their own homes.

I'm covering all personal costs so any money you donate will go straight to the charity, I've set myself a target of raising at least £2k, any help you can give towards this aim no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated.  

This will be a tough challenge, I've not done anything like this before but I'm determined to see it through by making sure I do the necessary training and counting on the support from you guys.
