Following a 2 hour training session, I will be attempting a firewalk in order to raise money for St Luke's Hospice.

Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot over a bed of hot embers or stones measuring around 800 degrees.. It has a long history in many cultures as a test or proof of faith, and is also used in modern motivational seminars and fund-raising events.

St Luke’s is the local hospice for Harrow and Brent, who care for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life during the final stages of their illness. Care for patients is provided through in-patient unit, out-patient clinics, and day care unit.
