Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mother passed peacefully away on 11 May 2016 having been diagnosed with terminal cancer in February 2016. She had been cared for by my sister Elaine and niece Sarah since October last year when she had a fall and was no longer able to live her normal independent life. It wasn't until February that we found out the cause of her illness was terminal cancer.

During the last 4 weeks of her life, Fair Havens were a godsend to us all, especially Mom, who was able to pass away peacefully and with dignity due to the fantastic care and support supplied by them to Mom, myself, Elaine and Sarah. They turned up with a smile every day to try and make everyone's life just that little bit better. They were always there when needed.

I am cycling in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 2016 on the 31st July and it is my way of thanking them for all their help and support.
