I usually avoid racing in the summer but this is not a normal year. I'm hoping to fundraise by running the London Landmarks Half for my local Women's Refuge, Welwyn Hatfield Refuge and Support Services, because I know that women living in abusive situations need the support the Refuge gives more than ever. The Refuge not only gives a safe home to women and children escaping domestic abuse, it supports women to establish a sustainable life outside the abusive situation. Any amount you can spare will go towards helping the Refuge continue their important work.
