We provide financial support to injured emergency services heroes

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The emergency services are there when we need them.  The Blue Lamp Foundation provides support to any Ambulance, Police or Fire personnel who are injured in the course of duty.

Listening to the plight of a fellow colleague, who has served for 21 years, there was nothing available.   I had to do something to help, choosing to fund raise for a specific charity has to be something close to my heart.

This charity is not one that is well known, but is providing invaluable help and support to our emergency service personnel.  You may or may not know I enjoy running and exercising, so to run the Manchester marathon for a charity that is entirely funded through private donations, seemed the least I could do to help.

I ask you kindly to uphold this trust to ensure that provision can continue to provide support to injured emergency services heroes,
by donating whatever you can, as they continue to save life’s.

PTSD; the horrendous feeling, nightmares and unequivocal pain and trauma it causes.  It can affect anyone, even those who are strong.  One
of the hardest things is people looking and seeing you as “normal”; it’s not a broken limb that heals.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
