Relay For Life is a fantastic community event in which team members take it in turns to walk around the track in a 24 hour relay, allowing members to take it in turns to eat and sleep in a tented village.

This amazing event is punctuated by the emotionally moving Candle of Hope ceremony, at which candle-lit bags decorated with messages in memory of loved ones lost to cancer are placed around the track.

The event also sees cancer survivors take part in a lap of honour to celebrate their personal victories over the disease in any of its more than 200 forms.

Donating to and taking part in Relay For Life is about being part of a community united in the belief that it CAN make a difference.

Relay For Life Whitchurch will be holding a host of fundraisers throughout the year with all monies raised through this JustGiving page going to Cancer Research UK.
