Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in this year’s Crazy Hats walk in memory of Eleanor who sadly lost her fight against breast cancer in February.
She battled this terrible illness for three and half years and after 18 months after the initial diagnosis things were looking positive, so much so that she had breast reconstruction in February 2016 and was looking forward to going back to work in May 2016.
However in May 2016 the breast cancer had spread to her head and liver, she had the tumour removed from her head and after a few months started treatment to tackle the liver.
After many rounds of continuous treatment for another 18 months she finally lost her fight.
She was the bravest, generous, caring and determined women I have ever known.
Sadly missed but never forgotten.
