I am running the Cardiff Half marathon in October with 2 goals in mind. The first is to raise money for Hope Rescue. And the second is to remember my Dad. We sadly lost him suddenly in 2022 to undiagnosed heart disease. I ran the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2018 with my Dad, and if it hadn’t been for him, I don’t think I’d have completed the race. He always said the next time we did it, he wanted us to run it in 2.5 hours. But I never for one minute thought we’d have the opportunity taken away from us so soon. So that’s my second goal.

Hope Rescue is a charity very close to our hearts. Mum and Dad adopted a dog from Hope and myself and my Husband foster for them. They are an incredible charity that I have worked alongside for a long time now, and I hope we can raise some funds for them. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙏
