Last year, my dad was one of around 9,500 people in the UK diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is so often the forgotten cancer with very little funding invested into finding a cure for this most cruel of diseases. It has the lowest survival rate of all cancers – just 3% of those diagnosed survive for five years. It is also the only cancer that has seen no improvement in this figure over the last 40 years.

Pancreatic cancer is notoriously difficult to diagnose and treat, and this is why I want to support 'Amser Justin Time'.

When my dad was diagnosed, we thought we were 'just in time'. After a very difficult year including major surgery, chemotherapy and daily prayer, although not cured, dad is battling on.

Amser Justin Time (AJT) is a Welsh Charity dedicated to raising awareness of pancreatic cancer and specifically funding pancreatic cancer stem cell research.
