I was originally trekking Kilimanjaro but this has been cancelled due to Covid-19.  As I’m not in a position to commit to the trek next year at the moment, I have decided to run the London Marathon in the treks place as ironically it is the same weekend.  This way all of the money raised so far will be transferred to the Marathon as I think that charities need this money now more than ever due to the pandemic.

The mental health foundations work has never been as important as it is now with the unprecedented times we find ourselves in, this has been a strain on many people’s mental health and it’s important that there are great charities out there to assist.

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

I believe that metal health affects everyone to a certain extent but some worse than others.  I have decided to challenge myself by running the London Marathon for the fantastic Mental Health Foundation to raise money and awareness.

I have set myself a large target of money to raise but I believe I can get there with your help.
