In memory of James Aitken
We tell the story of all in Bomber Command to everyone, preserving their heritage.

Story

Our grandad and dad flew as a 20 year old in a Lancaster bomber in the war . Now in his memory we are attempting the race known as the tube challenge to visit as many London tube stations as possible in 1 working day completing a 15 mile run and climbing around 5000ft in stairs. The fundraising will go direct to the Lincolnshire Bomber Command memorial where he was based at RAF Helmswell. Sponsor us by donation!!!! The race challenge will take place on Friday 26th July.

About the charity

A world class international Memorial & Interpretation Centre telling the collective story of Bomber Command, from all perspectives. Serves as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for those who served, supported and suffered during WW2.
