I have always had heart failure, but only discovered it in my forties. It turned out to be serious stuff, but two big surgeries and one pacemaker later, I'm still here and misbehaving...! Thanks to the support, love and good humour of my family, soul-friends and excellent work colleagues, I live a truly full life.

From the heights of Snowdon I shall look out and hold in mind all those who are, this very day, being diagnosed with some form of heart failure. The first steps on their road to a changed life and a new way of living, which may involve shock, fear and despair, can be really be positively helped by any donations you are able to make. The funds we create here will go to informing new patients about their condition, changing the attitudes of those who surround the newly diagnosed and supporting state-of-the-art medical research.
