THE BIG RUN UPDATE (see updated photo)

Well im pleased to say like last year i completed the run without the need for a breather. However i was unable to achieve one of my targets and break my personal best of last year, instead equalling it, but i will blame the all inclusive holiday to Turkey two weeks ago for that! Whilst any World Cup celebrations are on hold...i will blame the West Ham keeper for that! Thanks for your wonderful donations.

Once again I will be taking on a 10k run on Sunday 13th June in aid of Barts Hospital. I appreciate your amazing generosity last year which allowed me to reach my ambitious donations target and so this year have set a slightly lower target however I hope the 3 reasons below encourage you to sponsor me again:

- one of the charities that benefits from this year fundraising is the Barts Prostate Cancer Research unit, a disease which a few years ago took my uncle's life at a young age but not before he had made some tremendous attempts to raise awareness of the disease and set up another related charity;

- I will be looking to beat my 1 hour and 3 minutes time recorded last year and hopefully break the hour mark;

- this year's run takes place the morning after the England v USA World Cup game so I will have to save any celebrations until after the run.
