Story

I am fast approaching my 70th birthday and as a life long lover of wildlife I want to use the occasion to raise money for the HART Wildlife Rescue.

The plan is to walk the Cotswold Way which extends for 103 miles (166 km) from Chipping Camden to Bath over 10 days, starting 18/05/21:

Day 1: Arrive Chipping Campden and overnight Day 2: Walk to Stanton, 10 m Day 3: Walk to Cleeve Hill, 13 m Day 4: Walk to
Seven Springs, 8 m Day 5: Walk to Painswick, 12 m Day 6: Walk to King's Stanley, 9 m Day 7: Walk to Wotton-under-Edge, 15 m
Day 8: Walk to Tormarton, 15 m Day 9: Walk to Bath, 17 m.

I am hoping that all my friends and friends of HART will help me to raise a minimum of £1000.00 by sponsoring my walk.

Hart has been an inspiration to me and both my granddaughters (Phoebe and Amelia) who volunteer there helping to look after all the wildlife in need of care and attention, giving them a good chance of survival at very distressing times.

Phoebe is not only very busy at the rescue centre but also studying to become a vet at the University of Surrey.

As well as volunteering at the rescue Amelia is working hard at school and also participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
