The stats suck! The survival for Ovarian cancer is about 13% and
hasn't gotten any better in the last 30 years. The symptoms are
unspecific to Ovarian cancer, which makes it virtually undetectable
until it's usually too late.
I know all too well how this relentless disease affects a family: my mother lives with Recurrent Ovarian cancer, diagnosed last summer, after 6 years of being cancer-free.
Together we can change the stats!
Please sponsor me to run a half-marathon in honour of all the suvivors and in memory of those who were less fortunate.
