Story
Greetings Fellow Earth Dwellers (or indeed any passing Aliens who might happen to be reading this)
****Well folks I did it.....4 hrs 25 minutes and 44 seconds to be precise. Given the limited amount of training I did I think that is not such a bad time. A huge thank you to everyone that has sponsored me it is so much appreciated.****
Thanks for dropping by......Yes I'm at it again, I'm after your hard earned cash - I'm waddling my merry way from Whitebridge to Inverness once more - all 26.2 miles of it - if your free on 03/10/10 and in the area give me a shout as I shuffle by - I'll be easy to spot - red faced, puffing and a bit hippo like, somewhere near the back.
Training (!) has begun, I know some of you have been unfortunate enough to have witnessed this eye damaging, mind warping spectacle. I do hope you haven't had too many nightmares containing old ladies in Lycra - not a good image
23/05/10 Ran home from work last night after a 12 hr shift - about 6.5 miles - it was sooo hot even at 8 pm. Was really cream crackered and glad to get home. Got a splendid woofy greeting from Max the dog when I got in so that was nice. Hes got a poorly leg at the moment and is confined to barracks on bed rest .....(Try telling him that....)
21/07/10 Out for a 7 mile run in the rain this morning, super squelchy feet and wet through but great run, I love running in the rain...
25/07/10 Lovely 10.5 miles with the Ladies. Great way to spend a Sunday mornng
25/08/10 ran about 13 very hilly miles today - I thought it was a longer route than it was - silly me. Have mapped out a 16 mile route and an 18 mile route so will be doing those shortly.....watch this space....
30/08/10 16 miles today....
28/09/10 Nearly there now.... out for 30 mins this morning with Max trotting along side of me. Only one more short run left before the big one ....oh my.....
