Fundraising for The Seafarers' Charity
Story
I will be taking to the streets on 25 April 2010 to pound out 26.2 miles of London fun. If you'd like to show your support, I'd love a little donation towards Seafarers UK, who give grants to lots of maritime charities across the UK.
Please also feel free to come along on the day and cheer / throw rotten tomatoes. I like to give sweaty hugs at the end of races, so if that's your thing, be at the finish line around 13.30. Seafarers are throwing a party for supporters at HQS Wellington (info below) on Victoria Embankment on the day - you're welcome to show up from 12.30 (you can watch the race from there), I will be there as soon as I can after finishing. Food and drink will provided for free but a small donation is encouraged when you go onto the boat. But feel free to bring anything you like with you - I've heard cider is an excellent recovery drink...
