Alot of you may laugh when u first see this and think he'll never do that, I was thinking the same! Well now the challenge has changed and i am doing a run every month leading up to the marathon in may! This challenge i have set myself will be tough but nowhere near as tough as some people dealing with cancer are going through. Louisas dad (Jacko)was diagnosed with melanoma and has been fighting this recently and seeing what he has had to deal with made me think running 26.2 miles will be nothing compared to how tough it's been for him and the family! There is nothing that we can do to help apart raise more money to help find more treatments and care centres! The cancer unit at the BGH is currently not big enough to help the people of the borders so needs to extend this is where your generosity helps me to reach a target to help go towards the extention so more borders people who need this facility can go there instead of having to travel to the western hospital in Edinburgh.
