'The Kitchen' is based in Newcastle city centre – which is close to my heart - and does an amazing job of reaching out to those who need it and provide food, friendship and family for anyone without a loving home or family. By helping people with emotional difficulties, their physical and mental health, addictions, social and housing problems, they are a big lifeline for so many people, especially given the current state of living in the UK.
Raising money for The People’s kitchen would mean that they could continue to provide this care and support, as they are entirely volunteer ran and rely on donations to enable their services.
