On 13th October I will be running The Royal Parks Half Marathon and have pledged to raise £300 for a charity that is very dear to me. * this has now been increased to £600 thanks to everyone’s generosity, we can do this ! *

I will be raising money for We Are Beams, a small charity that provides support to children and Young people with disabilities and there families. I started volunteering with this charity over 10 years ago, worked there seasonally while I was at University and still help out there when I can (can't keep away ha) . 

We Are Beams provides a wide range of rest bite services including after school clubs , activity days during the school holidays and overnight  retreats. The disabled children and young people utilise the services typically have one or more learning difficulty, complex health needs, physical or sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, Autism or severe ADHD. The services that We Are Beams provide a space and provisions for these children to be independent and safe and a network that their families trust and rely on. 

I have seen over the years just how much the services can enhance the lives of the children and young people they support and I would love it if you could help me support them. Any amount of sponsorship would be much appreciated and I can vouch that it will be put to very good use!
