Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. One of my favourite phrases when it comes to exercising is "I don't do running" ... but that is all about to change! This July I am donning my running shoes (once I've bought some!) and taking part in the 2010 Jane Tomlinson 10K run. I'm running to raise funds to go someway towards saying a huge 'Thank you' to all the staff at Leeds General Infirmary for taking such good care of my little boy. Oliver has just has his third operation since he was born and the results have been amazing! He is full of beans, and is running and jumping around all over the place... and being just like a little boy should be :-) There aren't enough words to say how grateful we are for all that the wonderful staff at LGI have done.
The Childrens Heart Surgery Fund raises funds for valuable equipment, resources and research all of which help children with heart defects. In 2008 it raised funds to purchase a new 3D Echo machine, which plays a vital role in diagnosing congenital heart disease. It was a machine like this that helped diagnose Oliver's condition not long after he was born. Please help me to raise lots of money, and help the CHSF help many other children and their familes.
