Story

In June last year, I had an ACL knee reconstruction and had this screw especially put in my knee so that I could do even more ridiculous sporting activity.

So 10 months on, I decided upon the most gruelling physical event I could find - the 2005 London Marathon!

I am running to raise money for Calvert Trust, a great charity that has nothing to do with knee operations, but everything to do with helping disabled kids enjoy the sort of outdoor activities that the rest of us take for granted.

So if you can spare a small amount, please sponsor me to finish 26 miles (42 km) of sheer pain and suffering, and help this worthy cause.

Many thanks for your support. Lou Campbell
