On 13th September 2020, I was supposed to run 13.1 miles to support this wonderful charity. Sadly that was cancelled because of covid. The issues Safety net UK helps people with have increased since the country went into so called lockdown. So I've signed up for the 2021 run too and increased my target. 

Everyone's lives have been touched by covid, no one has enjoyed the restrictions, but I know I'm lucky, I feel safe in my home. Not everyone does. If by huffing and puffing around Newcastle will help some people, why wouldn't I?
