Having recently said I won’t ever have a marathon in me, it looks like I’m going to have to find one. 

I have signed up to run the London Marathon for a charity chosen by my friend, Claire. 

Without hesitation, she decided that would be West Cumbria Hospice at Home. 

I cannot stress how important their work is, and how much  help they provide to families in despairing situations. 

I will run virtually at exactly the same time as those racing in London. 

I’d be forever grateful if you can spare any amount at all, however small, to help Claire and countless families in Cumbria. 

They deserve it. Thank you.
