This year I am Lady Captain at Chelmsford Golf Club and I have chosen SNAP - Special Needs And Parents for my Captain's Charity.

SNAP help Essex families with children or young people who have any special need or disability.

SNAP has helped my Daughter and her family for several years now.  My grandchildren Leon (10) and Ivy (8) are autistic and SNAP has supported the whole family in many different ways!

Having SNAP as my charity is my chance to say a big THANK YOU to them and your donation will make that THANK YOU even bigger!

Ivy attends yoga classes at SNAP's Centre in Brentwood and also uses the fantastic sensory room.  Leon loves computers and spends lots of time in the ITC room.  My daughter and her husband have attended many seminars and talks for parents of autistic children. 

They have supported my Daughter through many dark days and I am not sure how she would have managed without that support!
