A couple of years ago, I swore to run a marathon before I turned 40.  Well, that hasn't quite happened, but I'm giving my all, to try and run a 1/2 Marathon, in October.  It's been a hard slog, but crossed fingers I'll make it this time! 

There is a very good reason why I have put myself through this:  I am runing for an amazing charity; Mind.  1 in 4 people you know, will experience some kind of mental distress in 2010.   And hardly any of those, will receive effective (if any!) treatment.  In addtion to trying to provide more/better treatment for more people, Mind are also working hard to  tackle the stigma associated with mental health problems. 

So please, help me to help Mind, but giving what you can.
