Story

We've done it!  Suffolk Wildlife Trust is thrilled to have completed the purchase of the last 16 acres of ancient woodland at Bradfield Woods

There's still lots more to look forward to and this winter we are starting work on a new education centre, constructed from green oak.  Your donation now will help us build the centre to inspire a new generation and support Bradfield Woods into the future.

Bradfield Woods is a National Nature Reserve and one of the most important ancient woodlands in the country.  It's ash stools, created by centuries of coppicing are the oldest living things in Suffolk!  The woods are a haven for wildlife including threatened species like dormouse and great crested newt.
