We both got a place, so on the 3^rd October 2021 you
will see us at the start line of the London marathon. And hopefully at the finish line too…..!

Hospice UK is a charity that is very close to our hearts. It’s hard to describe what the hospice care shown to Mike Borman in late 2017 and early 2018 meant to us. Mike was a wonderful man who we loved dearly and will never forget. His last weeks were made so much better by the care and compassion shown to him by the staff at Pilgrims Hospice in Ashford, Kent and because of them Mike was able to fulfil his final wishes with dignity. That meant the world to him and to all of his family and we will never forget the love and humanity of the staff, and can never thank them enough.

So now we need to start work on our fundraising. Sam is
going to dust off his tools and is taking commissions in wood (anybody like a trug for that summertime veg?), and Colette’s green fingers will hopefully result in a bountiful and profitable harvest to sell at the end of the lane.

We know it’s a tough time for many, and charities are  suffering a great deal from the events of the last year or so. So please, if
you can, dig deep and sponsor us – it will lighten the load as we schlepp up and down Cornish hills on our training runs to know that you are there supporting us.

We will post photos of our efforts over the next few months,
