Hi all,

It’s that time again when I have decided to take on another challenge in order to raise money for a charity close to my heart.

In the past I have completed The London Marathon in 2005, I have trekked to Kilimanjaro in 2004 & to Base Camp Everest in 2008. However I have taken the plunge again and decided it’s about time for another challenge and I have entered myself for The London to Paris Bike Ride in April 2018.

It would mean a lot if you could spend a few moments of your time to read my blur on the extremely challenging task ahead.

The cycle ride is over 220 miles long and will take over 4 days for 20 of us youngsters (lol!!) to complete. It will put our ageing bodies through some serious aches and pains to cycle some 55 miles a day. I’m sure it will be extremely physically and mentally challenging as well as being an exciting 4 days. We are all looking forward to some good old banter between us guys in order to keep us motivated for raising money for this fantastic cause.

The charity is called ‘Your One Wish’, which helps children displaced against their will from normal society, children of war, orphans and broken families. They also help women in distress due to uncontrollable circumstances and building sustainability amongst communities suffering from lack of basic needs.
