I have been thinking hard about which charity to run for. I would like my dedicated training and my first half marathon attempt to coincide with the dedicated, and admirable work that Refugee Action do on a daily basis. 

The scale of the refugee crisis is beyond anything I can personally comprehend. My understanding that human suffering has occurred because of the abuse of political power and huge global inequalities, is truly devastating. However, I am truly grateful for the positive work organisations like refugee action offer to my local community. The idea of running to assist in supporting refugees and helping families gain human well-being, security, education and socialisation really does motivate me and I hope you will consider giving your support too! 

I don't have a target to reach because any donation is valued and I have set up this page to raise awareness of the trauma and difficulties faced by refugees and recognise that it is possible for us all to cooperate and do our part to ensure love, peace and harmony conquers all.
