After watching 'Bears About the House' on BBC2, Harriet was really moved by the story of Mary the Sun Bear, and how she was rescued in Laos from a small cage destined for a Bear bile farm.

The charity rescued Mary, who was only 4 months old and very underweight. After a couple of months of nursing her back to health in one of the sanctuary's teams homes, she was taken to Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary, where she is cared for and now leads a happy life!

Please could you help Harriet raise £100 to help toward food, play equipment and medical care for the bears within their care.

She will be walking a 4km route in Snowdonia National Park whilst we are on holiday in Wales:
