I have now shaved my hair!!

Thank you to everyone who has donated already!!  Nicola and I have raised almost £4,000 between us.  The ward will be placing an order shortly for a couple of chairs and other bits and pieces to make treatment more comfortable the patients.

History - 

BONKERS!! that's a great way to describe me - I've decided that it is time to do something RADICAL and shave off all my hair.  But rather than it be another "new hair do", I thought I'd use the opportunity to do something for charity.

Since a family friend has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be using the facilities at the Basingstoke hospital, I thought this was perfect charity to support.  The money raised will go towards useful equipment for the cancer ward at the Basingstoke hospital - ideally I'd like to raise £2,500 for a new Chemo chair but I've started with a realistic target as I haven't got long flowing locks!

Please give generously ;)

The MANE event will take place on Friday 9th July at Scott House in Basingstoke, 3rd floor breakout area from1.30pm. 

If you would like to assist with the hair removal, this can be arranged but the privilege will go to the highest bidder!!! So dig deep if you'd like this once in a life time opportunity.
