On the 4th May to the 5th May (GivingTuesdayNow day) I am fasting from all food for 40 consecutive hours to fundraise for poor and persecuted Christians affected by COVID-19 and lockdown. Persecuted Christians are on the margins of their societies, and can be deliberately left out when general aid is distributed. Many are desperately poor already, often because of anti-Christian discrimination. Many work in low-paid jobs as daily-wage earners. They are too poor to have savings, and with lockdown they have lost their meagre incomes. During my fast I will get just a small sense of what it is like to go without food for a long period of time, something that most of us in this country have little understanding of.

Please consider giving whatever you can afford. £40 for the total time fasted would be amazing and could provide a family with enough food for 2 months, but even just £5 could keep one Christian alive for a month during this pandemic lockdown. Please also do share and pray for this fundraiser with your friends and family.
